Nobody has enjoyed the pandemic, but if you work in retail, chances are, it’s been something of a nightmare. After all, many businesses have shut down – some numbers suggest that as many as four million businesses have closed permanently thanks to Covid-19.
Clearly, all business owners have been battered by the pandemic, but retail – because its business model is often based on seeing customers in person – has been especially hard hit. Retail healthcare, the industry I’m in, has certainly had its share of challenges. Telehealth has been a lifesaver for the industry, not to mention for medical staff and patients; but there are plenty of times when it can be better for a patient and doctor to meet in person.
