Getaway Opens Second Location in PNW in Mount Vernon

This month, Getaway, the hospitality company offering mindful escapes to cabins in nature across the U.S., is opening its second location in the Pacific Northwest in Mount Vernon. Getaway’s other location in this area is at the southern border of Washington in Glenwood, WA, about 45 minutes from Portland.

Getaway Skagit Valley in Mount Vernon is on 69 acres and has 36 socially-distant cabins. 27 cabins have a queen bed for 1-2 guests, and 9 cabins have a queen bunk beds for 3-4 guests. Guests are encouraged to disconnect from work, WiFi, cell phones, and routines and reconnect with what matters most. The cabins are private and naturally secluded, with contact-free check-in and check-out, and are equipped with AC/heat, a comfortable bed, a large window to gaze at the stars and wake up in the trees, a curated selection of books and games, toilet and hot shower, two-burner stovetop, mini fridge and outdoor fire pit, Adirondack chairs and picnic table.
