Casey Mitchell scored the hat trick and added two assists as Lowell edged Tewksbury, 12-11, April 1.
Nora Funaro fueled the offense for the Raiders, potting three goals and adding a helper. Cate Shanahan and Tori Farley were also a factor netting a pair of goals each. Jackie Peirce paced the attack with a goal and a helper. Tess Hollingsworth rounded out the goal scoring. The Lowell defense hung tough in crunch time. The back line of Erin Asselin, Lilly Cluff, Alicia Mansaray and Jiangely Paulino, managed to hold off the Tewksbury offense in the late stages of the contest. Lowell goaltender Sara Skaff made nine saves in the victory.
