Swarm of Bees Invades a St Petersburg Florida Man’s Kitchen

A St. Petersburg man says he’s fed up after months of trying to live with bees swarming inside of his apartment.

Matt Taylor says the bees started as a nuisance in May. Every few days, a few would sneak through the cracks by his front door.

In July, he started leaving his house at 4 p.m. most evenings because waves of them were flying into his apartment as it got closer to sundown.

“It’s been a month of some crazy days where I didn’t want to be in my house,” Taylor said.

“It was like a landmine here late at night. I didn’t know what I was stepping on,” he said.
