Scoreboard: Noyes scores six as Littleton lax oust Assabet

Cam Noyes scored six goals and an assist, as the Littleton boys lacrosse team leveled Assabet Valley 10-6, May 21.

Attack Josh Manickam and middie Brady Decoste each pocketed a goal and an assist. Midfielders Garrett Shimmel and Ryan Johnson rounded out the scoring.

“Offensively, can’t say enough about Cam Noyes,” said Coach Mark Parkinson. “He fought through a lot and was able to score when we needed it. Brady Decoste also had a great day as well. His two points were great, but he played great lockdown defense for us when we needed it.”

Midfielder Zack Milner added two assists, with Luke Laferty, Aiden Leduc and Brian Marrese also picking up helpers. Goalie Colin Murphy made 10 saves, with Gage Carroll adding three.

“This was a great bounce back win for us,” said Parkinson. “We really took one on the chin against NM, but we came out today with a goal and purpose and played great as a team. Colin Murphy was huge for us. He made a ton of great saves and put us in position to create at the other end of the field.”

Littleton travels to Westboro, Monday, before taking on Nashoba, Tuesday.
