What is love?

I was driving home from work the other day. I worked 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., didn’t get a lunch break or any time to rest between patients, so I was tired. With the slush on the road, another car pulled out right in front of the other car, and a fender-bender accident occurred. I watched as both people started yelling and cursing at each other. My first thought was “why are humans so pathetic?” we can’t even love each other as God commanded us to do. Then I realized, that even for those arguing people with hate in their hearts, that God loves them, and he sent his only Son to die on the cross to pay the price for our sins because we are all sinners, unable to get to heaven on our own.

And I hope you open your mind and heart to this article. Some people will say, “I love your articles, it is the first one I read and I keep for the days I need a lift.” While others will say, “you are a chiropractor, not a pastor, keep your articles about chiropractic.” My “job” is being a chiropractor, but who I am is a genuine person who wants all people’s lives to be inspired by the love of God. I believe any doctor, and true healer, feels the same way.

I feel if I am to love and uplift others in my attempt to heal them, not just physically but emotionally and even spiritually, that I must surround myself with goldy people who can feed me that I can feed others. One of my sources to renew my mind is to attend a small group “class” every two weeks. Let me share with you what we discussed lately.
