“Scott came out in support of this bill last year because extending the right to vote to noncitizens in municipal elections is the right thing to do — and a no-brainer for a city of immigrants,” his spokesman Tyrone Stevens said in an email. “He supports enactment and implementation as soon as possible, including if possible for this primary.”
